Nurse Practitioner

Seeking an Illinois-licensed Nurse Practitioner for a growing Oncology practice in Decatur, IL, primarily working in the clinic with occasional travel to other locations.

Under physician supervision, the NP provides primary health care, performs medical services, and collaborates as part of the hematology/oncology team.

• Obtain patient histories
• Perform physical exams
• Interpret data
• Order diagnostics
• Assist with procedures
• Administer medications
• Educate patients
• Triage calls
• Evaluate emergencies
• Ensure continuity of care
• Participate in professional development
• Manage illnesses per collaborative agreements

• Graduate of an accredited NP program
• Illinois licensure
• Current CPR
• EPIC training
• Must demonstrate clinical competency, effective communication, organization, and adherence to HIPAA

Ability to perform various physical tasks, support patients, work under stress, and adapt to changing conditions. Exposure to blood, body fluids, and chemotherapeutic agents in a normal care environment.

Full-time position with a salary range of $100,000 - $112,500/year. Must be able to commute or relocate to O'Fallon, IL, for in-person work.
