Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position with IR/cath lab experience and an active IL RN license.

• Work in a hospital Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology unit
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 07:00-15:30
• On-call required 2-3 times per week with rotating weekend coverage for emergency cases
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• Patients undergo a range of interventional radiology and catheterization procedures
• Requires basic critical care knowledge such as ER or ICU experience
• Responsibilities include care of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
• Must be comfortable working in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
• On-call coverage required for emergency IR cases outside of scheduled shift hours
• Local candidates are accepted

• Active IL RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab nursing
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Ability to cover on-call shifts for both nights and weekends
