As an RN at Complete Care at Margate, you serve as a clinical leader and advocate. Your role encompasses:

• Advanced Clinical Assessment:
  Conduct head-to-toe assessments, identify subtle changes in resident status, and initiate immediate nursing interventions to prevent re-hospitalization.
• Physician & Interdisciplinary Leadership:
  Act as the primary liaison between physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Lead care plan meetings to ensure person-centered goals are met.
• Medication & Treatment Oversight:
  Oversee the safe administration of complex medications, IV therapies, and specialized treatments, ensuring 100% accuracy in MAR/TAR documentation.
• Wound Care & Infection Control:
  Provide expert wound management and serve as a steward for infection clinical protocols to maintain a safe, sterile environment.
• Direct Supervision & Mentorship:
  Provide clinical guidance and oversight to LPNs and CNAs, fostering a team-oriented approach to daily care.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  Ensure all charting and documentation meet Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) standards and federal CMS guidelines.
• Emergency Response:
  Act as the clinical lead during emergency situations, demonstrating calm, decisive action and professional judgment.
• Family Advocacy &
  
  Education:
  
  Empower residents and their families through health education, discharge planning, and empathetic communication regarding terminal care or recovery milestones.

• Licensure:
  Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Illinois (Required).
• Experience:
  
  Strong clinical background in sub-acute, skilled nursing, or acute care settings.
• Leadership Traits:
  Ability to manage a care team, prioritize high-acuity tasks, and mentor junior staff.
• Tech Savvy:
  Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and basic digital communication tools.
