Registered Nurse (RN) – PICU / Pediatric Stepdown

Shift: Night Shift | 4x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to PICU-level pediatric stepdown patients
Manage ventilators, tracheostomies, and G-tubes
Perform comprehensive assessments and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Respiratory Therapy, PT, Pharmacy, and Social Services
Accurately document care using Meditech
Float within scope as required

Requirements
Minimum 2 years RN experience (required)
PICU or Pediatric Stepdown experience (preferred)
Travel experience required (no first-time travelers)
Patient ratio experience: 1:4 (required)

Licensure:
Active Illinois RN License REQUIRED at submission
Compact RN licenses not accepted in Illinois

Certifications:

BLS
PALS

Required Skills
Care of ventilated pediatric patients
Tracheostomy care
Gastrostomy tube management
Management of chronic ventilators
Meditech charting experience (required)
