Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

IWS Family Health, a community health center providing preventive health care services to children and families, seeks a pediatric Nurse Practitioner to help grow our practice as we add a third location in 2026.

Reporting to our Pediatric Director, this role nodige all aspects of well and sick care to the pediatric patients of IWS and assists as needed in Quality Assurance Assessments.

• Deliver high quality, patient‑centered care in an FQHC look‑a‑like setting via in‑person visits and telehealth.
• Conduct well‑child visits, immunizations, developmental screenings, and acute care visits.
• Diagnose and manage pediatric illnesses, chronic conditions, and behavioral concerns.
• Participate in 24‑hour call rotation with other providers.
• Review laboratory results, referral results, and emergency room discharge, and follow‑up appropriately.
• Collaborate with nurses, behavioral health and dental providers, clinical support staff, and specialists to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Assist in education of patients, residents, medical students, and other staff as appropriate.
• Apply a continuous quality improvement approach to care and participate in quality initiatives.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic health records (EHR).
• Participate in community outreach events as needed.
• Adhere to FQHC regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with others to ensure compliance with IWS funding and grant requirements.

• MS in Nursing or other related field
• Current APN License in the state of Illinois
• Three years of clinical experience

• Language skills would be a great benefit to our patients. Spanish and Polish are the most common.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000 depending on experience.
