Position Description

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. He/She is responsible to the Nurse Manager and is directly supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which he/she is assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which he/she practices
• Documentation and confirmation of one year of operating room clinical experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years preferred
• Current BLS card.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray

Local rate is $2,880 for 40 hrs. $72/hr reg and $108/hr OT. Years of experience REQ:
Resource must have 2 years of recent acute care experience in the OR.

Required Experience:

Level 1 Trauma Experience; RN must have strong scrub and circulate skills;
Experience in Ortho, Ortho Trauma, Vascular, Urology, General Surgery

Preferred Experience:

Neurosurgery (crani and spine), Open Heart/Thoracic, Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatric and Gynecology
