• Location: Chicago, IL 60622 (Illinois healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Travel nurse contract)
• Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with float to Telemetry as needed
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: September 29, 2025
• End Date: December 28, 2025
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470–$1570

• Active and unencumbered RN license in Illinois
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience in an acute care hospital
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination and boosters preferred
• Ability to float between ICU and Telemetry units as needed

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide direct clinical care to critically ill patients within the scope of RN practice
• Educate patients and families, and supervise other nursing staff
• Maintain high standards of care in both ICU and Telemetry settings
• Communicate effectively with physicians and the healthcare team regarding patient status, hemodynamic monitoring, and diagnostic results
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and treatment needs
• Uphold patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
