Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for night shifts at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring an active IL RN license and recent ED experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a Level I Trauma Center

• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

• Every other weekend is required

• Mandatory float policy to various units and locations within 50 miles as needed

• Cerner EMR used in the department

• Must be willing and able to float to various units and other facilities within 50 miles

• No block scheduling or special scheduling requests accepted

• Time off is limited to 5 days max, with no more than 2 consecutive days, and not permitted on weekends or around holidays

• Navy blue scrubs required (not provided by facility)

• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of assignment acceptance

• Strict compliance with documentation and onboarding deadlines

Requirements

• Active IL RN license in hand at time of consideration

• Minimum of 2 years recent acute care ED experience required

• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS required

• Must provide proof of required vaccinations prior to start date

• COVID vaccine required (booster not required)

• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility may apply and will be considered local
