We are partnering with a well-established ophthalmology practice in Chicago seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their clinical team. This role focuses on diabetic eye exams and routine ophthalmic evaluations
, including medical clearance exams for surgical procedures.
No prior ophthalmology experience is required — comprehensive training will be provided.
Full-time,
Monday–Friday scheduleNo weekends
Standard clinic hours
Collaborative ophthalmology setting
Training provided for ophthalmic-specific skills
- Other available locations : schaumburg, Albany, oakbrook Terrace, Buffalo Grove, Oak lawn.
- Perform diabetic eye examinations
- Conduct standard eye evaluations and pre-surgical clearances
- Review patient history and coordinate care with ophthalmologists
- Provide patient education and follow-up care
$65–$70 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

- Certification in Family Medicine, Adult-Gerontology
