A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients/residents through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention,implementation and evaluation. Effectively interacts with patients/residents, family members, responsiblepartyand other health team members, whilemaintainingstandards of professional nursing. The RN plans,supervise sand evaluatescareof each patient/resident.

The RN ensures that the status of the patient/resident condition is effectively communicated to the physician.

• Provide safe, effective nursing care per care plans and physician orders
• Administer medications and treatments accurately
• Assess residents and report changes promptly
• Document care in the EMR
• Supervise and mentor LPNs and CNAs
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team

Required:

• Active RN license instate of Wisconsin orlicensedin any U.S state and be eligible for Wisconsin licensure by reciprocity.(in good standing)
• CPR certified
• Ability to meet physical and job-related requirements
• Must be English literate andpossessexcellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience
• Supervisory or leadership experience
