Nurse Practitioner​/Physician Assistant; or PT

Overview

We are seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to perform mobile advanced wound care services for our patients. You will travel locally within your designated region to see our patients in their homes or SNFs. This position is in Chicago, IL, and requires driving to patient homes in the Chicago area. Must be licensed as an NP or PA in IL.

This is not a remote position. West Coast Wound & Skin Care is a full-service mobile wound care company that delivers quality services and treatments to patients in the comfort of their own home.

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to best treat the patient
• Perform wound care procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for the plan of care
• Define and document patient diagnoses
• Ensure patient satisfaction
• Patient education and management
• Debridement of wounds by various methods completed safely during the patient visit
• Application of topical wound care and other wound management products
• Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart, including follow-up notes

• Current state license as an NP or PA
• CPR Certified
• Effective communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet local travel requirements; minimum state required liability auto insurance
