Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Gastroenterology team.   Option for 12‑hour shifts or 8‑hour shifts

• Collaborative Team Environment:
  Work alongside experienced gastroenterologists and support staff
• State‑of‑the‑art facilities with advanced GI diagnostic and treatment capabilities

• Provide comprehensive GI care alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff.
• Conduct initial assessments, follow‑ups, and manage inpatient care.
• Assist with procedures and ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate closely with attending gastroenterologists to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in care coordination, documentation, and patient education.

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA‑C) licensed in Illinois.
• Strongly preferred: 1+ year of experience in Gastroenterology or inpatient medicine
  .
• Strong clinical decision‑making and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive medical team.
• EMR proficiency (experience with Epic is a plus).
