Humanity Rising
, a Chicago-headquartered nonprofit organization and national student-led movement empowering youth to create a more compassionate world, is seeking a Corporate Outreach Research Intern for Summer 2025.
You’ll help us identify and prioritize potential corporate partners from our list of companies in the Greater Chicago Area—companies most likely to support our bullying prevention, youth mental health, and youth empowerment programs
.
- Conducting research on a curated list of companies to:
- Confirm they are for-profit organizations
- Understand their employee size, industry, and community investment focus
- Identify any relevant CSR initiatives or youth-focused giving
- Prioritize those most aligned with our mission
- Compiling brief, actionable profiles and rankings based on alignment and partnership potential
- Working closely with the Founder or Project Manager to support outreach planning
- Current undergraduate student (course credit available subject to school approval)
- Strong research and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Google Sheets or Excel
- Passionate about youth advocacy, social impact, or nonprofit work
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to make a difference
- Start:
Early-to-mid July - End:
August 30, 2025 - Approx. 5–10 hours/week (flexible)
- $300 stipend upon successful completion
This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in nonprofit development, corporate social responsibility, and mission-driven work—while helping to empower youth across Chicago and beyond.
