Position Summary

Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day implementation of the Behavioral Health Pre-Apprenticeship Program, serving primarily SNAP-eligible participants from underrepresented backgrounds. Manage cohort scheduling and training logistics, support participant recruitment and enrollment activities, and coordinate program activities including workplace skills training and job shadowing. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with funder and program standards, track program compliance and participation requirements, monitor outcomes and demographics, and produce accurate and timely reports.

This is a grant-funded position anticipated to last 7 months with the possibility of extension based on additional grant funding.

Qualifications
  • High school degree or GED required.
  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in human services, public health, social work, workforce development, or related field preferred.
  • Experience coordinating workforce development, cohort-based training, apprenticeship, or pre-apprenticeship programs.
  • Familiarity with behavioral health career pathways, including CADC, CRSS, peer support, and/or substance use.
  • Experience supporting SNAP/SNAP-eligible participants and individuals from underrepresented backgrounds through employment programming. Strong data tracking, documentation, and funder/contract compliance reporting experience (attendance, outcomes, demographics).
  • Experience working with multi-ethnic populations. Strong relationship-building skills with community partners, employer partners, and internal stakeholders. Reliable and independent transportation.
  • Valid IL driving license and proof of automobile liability insurance preferred.
