REPORTS TO: Program Manager, Compliance Monitoring

STATUS: Full time/ Non Exempt

LOCATION: Chicago, Illinois, (Hybrid/remote schedule)

SALARY RANGE: $47,009 - $62,370 (range commensurate with experience)

Position Summary

We are looking for a Compliance Monitoring Coordinator to serve a critical role in coordinating and executing monitoring of partner agency performance. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and data analysis skills and is able to manage various activities and responsibilities simultaneously. The Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring performance monitoring and technical assistance work is completed on time, producing high quality deliverables, and supporting partner agencies in performance improvement.

Position Responsibilities
  • Coordinate compliance monitoring activities by creating and adhering to workplans, timelines, and schedules.
  • Develop tools to use during the monitoring process, including review criteria, review tools, spreadsheets, reports, and surveys.
  • Implement monitoring activities by assessing policies, files, and data for alignment with criteria.
  • Use data to assess the performance of partner agencies and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with team members to create and provide technical assistance and training resources that support agencies in improving performance outcomes and/or compliance.
  • Develop knowledge of rules and regulations and support others in understanding how to demonstrate compliance with them.
  • Plan and facilitate meetings with internal program teams and partner agency staff.
  • Raise challenges with the Program Manager to support troubleshooting, as needed.
  • Respond to requests for information from partner agencies and community members seeking resources and assistance.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Justice or another related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possessing 2-3 years of experience in the field(s) of homelessness service delivery and/or housing is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with HUD-funded programming, Coordinated Entry and/or the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) is preferred.
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office products including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
  • Ability to respond effectively to inquiries, complaints, or concerns, as presented by staff, consumers, service providers, and other stakeholders.
