JOB SUMMARY
The Food Group seeks a Social Media Manager to boost social media marketing for key brands. The role requires developing strategies, creating content (including short-form video/graphics), and community building. Experience in B2B, B2C, and DTC social strategies, proven campaign success, and knowledge of the evolving social media landscape are essential.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and execute social strategies for food and beverage clients.
- Plan and coordinate social content for editorial calendars and paid campaigns, communicating deadlines.
- Collaborate on social creative with internal content and creative teams.
- Lead content programming, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
- Manage paid social media strategies across platforms.
- Analyze reporting to optimize content and campaign performance.
- Lead community management, ensuring high engagement.
- Stay current on social media trends and best practices.
- Work collaboratively across agency departments.
- Collaborate on influencer management, including outreach, coordination, and ongoing relationship support.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel), Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Google Workspace, Business Apps & Collaboration Tools.
- Excellent communication (written/verbal), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams and perform under pressure.
- Adobe Premiere/After Effects experience is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
- B.A. in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or equivalent experience (required).
- 2-3 years of social media marketing/content experience (required); food/beverage preferred.
- Experience managing multiple social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, Pinterest, You Tube, etc.).
- Proficient with social media management platforms (Emplifi, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later).
- Creative planning and communication with creative teams.
- Foundational experience planning, executing, and reporting on paid campaigns.
- Experience coordinating projects and deadlines.
- Experience collaborating on influencer management initiatives.
- Bonus:
Photography/video shooting and editing experience.
