Real Chemistry is looking for a Director, Social to join our growing team!This role works within the Activation department, partnering with creative, influencer relations, paid activation, integrated intelligence, and brand strategy & business leads to develop high‑engagement social content and channel strategies that drive action and make impact.
What you’ll do:- Act as the day‑to‑day social media lead across multiple healthcare accounts, advising on integrated social campaigns from multichannel content development and distribution to paid media counsel and strategy.
- Nurture in‑depth knowledge of social media platforms and trends to guide clients and account teams and position Real Chemistry as an authority in the space.
- Drive adoption of emerging channel and content opportunities rooted in cultural insights and quantitative audience data.
- Work with in‑house data scientists and analysts to provide competitive social performance insights, improve performance, and advise future content strategy.
- Build and lead all aspects of the social media budgets, collaborating with other internal teams and senior leaders to optimize the right mix for clients.
- Identify new areas or opportunities for integrated social and digital programs and present both new and organic growth opportunities to clients.
- Serve as an outstanding mentor, recognizing the impact of delegation versus ownership.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in health or pharmaceutical social media, ideally in agency environment.
- Experience leading social media content programs and partnering with creative and production departments.
- Proficiency with Meta Ads Manager, content management systems, social monitoring, and measurement platforms.
- Understanding of FDA and FTC regulations guiding social media efforts for biotech and pharma clients.
- Familiarity with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics and collaboration with web teams on integrated media communications.
- Client‑service experience in agency environment and demonstrated ability to grow social media business current clients.
- Experience leading and mentoring junior staff.
- Outstanding written and oral communication and presentation skills.
