Position Summary
The Marketing Specialist supports the daily sales and marketing operations for Grand Canyon Resort Corporation. This role focuses on executing campaigns, providing sales support materials, coordinating promotions, tracking performance, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across channels. The Specialist works closely with sales, operations, leadership, and external partners to drive visitation, increase revenue, and enhance guest engagement. Responsibilities include campaign coordination, data tracking, reporting, trade show support, and assisting with pricing and promotional initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities Support daily sales and marketing activities by coordinating campaigns, promotions, and outreach efforts.Track and analyze customer data, campaign performance, and sales trends to support revenue growth.Assist in developing promotional strategies aligned with sales goals and seasonal initiatives.Maintain marketing calendars, timelines, and deliverables to ensure on-time execution.Gather competitive and industry insights to support sales positioning and messaging.Assist leadership in developing pricing recommendations and promotional offers.Create marketing and sales collateral, including digital content, presentations, and promotional materials.Coordinate with outside agencies, vendors, and partners to support campaign execution.Support the Public Relations Specialist with trade shows, conventions, and sales events, including logistics, materials, and follow-up.Track and report ROI from campaigns, promotions, and industry events.Prepare regular performance reports for leadership, including marketing spend and revenue impact.Maintain relationships with community partners, media, vendors, and tourism stakeholders.Monitor industry trends and best practices to recommend improvements to sales and marketing efforts.Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental objectives.Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to support sales initiatives through campaign execution, reporting, and promotional coordination.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to internal and external audiences.Ability to prepare sales and marketing presentations, proposals, and support materials.Ability to develop marketing copy and promotional content across multiple platforms.Strong organizational, analytical, and basic mathematical skills.Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.Working knowledge of Grand Canyon Resort Corporation operations, locations, and Hualapai history and culture.Qualifications
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record preferred.High School Diploma or GED required;
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales support, marketing, or a related field preferred.Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, bend for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; talk and listen on a regular basis.The Team Member must be able to concentrate for prolonged periods.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.The Team Member must be able to communicate effectively in person or using telecommunications equipment.Must have the hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, touch-screen display, telephone, and calculator.Frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.Conditions of Employment
