The Community Manager builds, grows, and nurtures the brand’s digital community through thoughtful engagement, content coordination, and active participation across online channels. At The Hand & The Eye, this role exists within a category of one environment, requiring a Community Manager who brings both rigor and intuition to how communities are formed, maintained, and respected.
This is not a high volume or transactional community role. We are looking for someone who understands nuance, tone, and restraint, and who can foster meaningful engagement while protecting the integrity of a distinctive brand. The Community Manager works closely with marketing, PR, and internal teams to ensure community efforts align with broader brand goals and standards.
Qualifications- 3 to 5 years of experience in digital community management, social media, or audience engagement
- Demonstrated ability to manage communities where brand perception and trust matter deeply
- Strong written communication skills with a clear sense of voice and tone
- Experience managing social platforms, forums, or online communities
- Comfort working cross functionally with marketing, PR, and related teams
- Engage with and moderate online communities across social and digital platforms
- Support content planning and execution in alignment with brand guidelines
- Foster positive, thoughtful dialogue that reflects a distinct brand point of view
- Gather and synthesize community feedback to inform internal teams
- Track engagement metrics and assess performance against KPIs
- Contribute to long term community growth, loyalty, and advocacy
