About

The Role

Our Digital & Insights team consists of over 40 talented individuals in New York, Chicago, Houston, and Washington, D.C. Bringing together experts across creative and digital strategy, data science and primary research, we support our subject matter colleagues through the creation of integrated communications strategies. Projects span a variety of industries including Energy, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Public Affairs, Financial Services, Industrials, Technology, and others.

We’re looking for a creative storyteller that can collaborate and shape content development, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, business objectives, and audience needs for a variety of clients. The Ideal candidate has a combination of creative vision, market insight, and analytical skills. This person will play a pivotal role in the development and growth of the creative team and has the ability to make a big impact.

What

You'll Do
  • Craft comprehensive content strategies that align with business objectives and resonate with target audiences for a range of clients
  • Present ideas and strategies to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Brainstorm and implement innovative ideas for engaging content that aligns with key brand messages and objectives
  • Develop audience personas based on insights from audits, primary, and secondary research
  • Conduct content and competitor audits to identify market trends and develop insights to inform strategies
  • Plan and oversee development of content calendars that ensures alignment to strategies across all relevant digital platforms
  • Develop, copywrite, and copyedit content across multiple channels such as websites, blogs, and social media platforms
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, research, data analysis, digital, and subject matter experts to ensure cohesive content execution and storytelling
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging platforms, and SEO guidelines to ensure content is competitive and relevant
  • Contribute to proposals for potential partners by providing strategic insights, creative ideas, and plans for measuring and evaluating content impact
  • Use performance metrics to continually refine content strategies, proactively identifying and acting upon opportunities for growth and improvement in partnership with digital strategist
What You’ll Need to Succeed

Basic Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in content strategy or related roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related concentration
  • Portfolio or work examples that demonstrates strong writing and analytical skills across multiple mediums is a must
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with creative team members to execute design- and/or creative-driven solutions
  • Strong understanding of content marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, and web analytics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbally, with the ability to provide actionable insights for all recommendations
  • Organizational and prioritization skills that lend themselves to project management
