Our client is one of Chicago’s newest tech startups, recently backed by top-tier VCs and currently disrupting a multi-billion dollar industry. They have moved past the "garage phase" and are scaling rapidly. To support this growth, they have engaged LaSalle Network to find their first Product Marketing Manager
.
This isn't a "maintenance" role. You will be the bridge between a world-class Engineering team and a hungry Sales organization. You will own the narrative, define the personas, and build the go-to-market (GTM) playbook from the ground up.
This is a full-time, onsite position based at their Chicago office. Our client believes in the power of face-to-face collaboration to drive their mission forward.
Product Marketing Manager Responsibilities- Positioning & Messaging:
Craft the "why" behind the product. You’ll develop the core value propositions that resonate with different customer segments. - GTM Strategy:
Own the launch lifecycle for new features and products, coordinating across product, sales, and customer success. - Sales Enablement:
Create the "battle cards," pitch decks, and case studies that help the sales team win. You will be their biggest advocate and secret weapon. - Market Intelligence:
Become the resident expert on the competition and the customer. You’ll conduct interviews, analyze win/loss data, and keep a pulse on industry trends. - Content Creation:
Drive the strategy for high-impact content including blogs, whitepapers, and webinars that articulate product value.
- 5+ years in Product Marketing, ideally within a B2B SaaS or high-growth tech environment.
- Led end-to-end launches, from positioning and messaging to rollout, enablement, and adoption.
- Built positioning, messaging, and value frameworks from scratch.
- Translate technical architecture, integrations, and security concepts into clear positioning and GTM strategy.
- Create sales-ready assets and materials, and support key customer and partner conversions.
- Competitive base salary (up to $140k).

This is a full-time, onsite position based at their Chicago office. Our client operates outside the traditional 9-to-5 grind. This isn’t a 'clock-in, clock-out' environment; they are a results-oriented team looking for people who are deeply invested in their work and thrive in a dynamic, high-energy atmosphere.
