Overview

The Global Marketing Measurement and Optimization Team, within Global Strategic Insights, focuses on maximizing the impact of our marketing efforts by using data‑driven learnings and what we know about consumer behavior to shape our marketing strategy and GTM efforts.

This Supervisor role will leverage expertise in consumer behavior, marketing, and data analysis, reporting and visualization to identify and explain how McDonald’s communications across the consumer journey impacts consumer behavior, and thus, impact it has on consumer visits sales, and market share. The ideal candidate will balance analytical thinking, technical skills, project leadership and the ability to connect consumer behavior insights with data to communicate results and inspire action.

Duties

In the Supervisor, Marketing Measurement and Optimization role, you will contribute to these priorities through the following ways:

  • Data analysis:
    Detect and communicate impactful marketing insights across multiple data domains (sales, transactions, product mix, market share, and marketing mix models)
  • Reporting:
    Support continuous enhancement and automation of functional and executive‑level reporting on marketing impact and campaign performance
  • Strategic Support:
    Serve as data and analytics advisor to McDonald’s leadership and functional teams, providing ongoing analytical support. Help create efficiencies across markets by sharing best practices and cross‑market learnings.
  • Enterprise Leadership:
    Promote “One McDonald’s Way” of measurement, measurement design and metric definitions in coordination with subject matter experts; support efforts to improve our data assets and enhance their usage
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in paid media, digital marketing, or a related field, with a focus on campaign optimization and testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of paid media channels, including search, social, display, video, and programmatic advertising.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, and statistical analysis software.
  • Experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experimentation techniques
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Curious, task‑oriented, and a self‑starter, with a proven track record of “getting things done”.
  • Customer‑centric mindset with a passion for discovering consumer behavior, trends, and opportunities for innovation

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $93,208.00 - $ per year
