At SAP, the Content Strategy and Planning team in Corporate Marketing is looking for a Senior Content Strategist to develop and execute content strategies across the entire customer journey, from awareness to consumption, spanning both digital and physical engagement. As a Senior Content Strategist, you will work closely with the Customer Journey Planning team to translate customer journeys across the business and guide how the journey is realized through compelling content throughout go-to-market efforts.
Responsibilities- Define content strategy for end-to-end customer journeys mapped to integrated marketing programs.
- Build the resulting content plans for key marketing motions to accelerate the customer lifecycle from awareness to adoption.
- Drive content execution by briefing internal teams and external agencies, ensuring high-quality and engaging content across integrated marketing channels.
- Lead collaboration across cross-functional teams including integrated marketing, content development, brand, and product marketing to ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Be a customer advocate, champion the customer and the experiences they have with the content you create—how they find it, how they consume it, how they use it to make decisions.
- Leverage data and market insights for decision making, including content optimization and new concept development.
- Understand the generative AI landscape and identify opportunities to use AI in content strategy and production to unlock breakthrough scale.
- 6+ years of demonstrated track record driving business impact through content.
- 6+ years of digital marketing experience and well-versed in best practices, including familiarity with customer journey mapping and buying committees.
- Strong customer-centric mindset and demonstrated ability to put the customer first.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, and a growth mindset approach.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Clear and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-starter with a bias for action.
- Experience managing across highly matrixed organizations with competing priorities.
- Deep understanding of content disciplines, including content strategy, SEO and execution.
- Experience with commercial technology sales processes.
Targeted combined range for this position is $100,000 - $216,000 (USD), inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target.
