Role SummaryWe are seeking a versatile, highly organized Retail Marketing Associate to join the Chicago-based team. In this role, you will be the "hub" for executing retail-centric marketing communications and experiences across various channels, including grocery, convenience, gas stations, and hospitality (bars/restaurants).
As a key support specialist, you will bridge the gap between strategy and execution. You will work cross-functionally with the Shopper Marketing Strategist and the Creative Studio to ensure all campaigns are launched on time and with brand-level excellence. This is a role for a "Jack/Jane of all trades" who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys moving from high-level project management to granular content creation.
Key Responsibilities- Campaign Implementation: Assist in the development and timely launch of creative retail marketing campaigns, ensuring all touchpoints align with the portfolio’s brand strategy.
- Sales Enablement: Create and distribute high-impact communication materials (newsletters, presentations, and digital content) for the field sales team to drive retailer engagement and education.
- Project Management: Utilize enterprise project management tools (e.g., Robo Head) to manage the full lifecycle of project briefs, ensuring the Creative Studio has all necessary inputs and that internal review processes are followed strictly.
- Content & Copywriting: Support the creation of retail-focused copy for emails, in-store signage, and newsletters, maintaining a consistent and engaging voice.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal studio teams to navigate the creative review process, gather feedback, and ensure final deliverables meet strategic goals.
- Operational Support: Act as a central point of contact for retail marketing tasks, jumping into various marketing initiatives as needed to support the broader team’s growth.
- The Proactive Specialist: You are a versatile marketing generalist with a "can-do" attitude who isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves to get a project across the finish line.
- The Disciplined Project Manager: You have a passion for organization and are comfortable managing complex workflows with many moving parts and stakeholders.
- The Clear Communicator: You possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Experience: 2–4 years of marketing experience (Client-side or Agency-side preferred).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Skills: Proven background in project management, content creation, and brand support.
- Tools: Familiarity with project management software (experience with Robo Head or similar studio workflow tools is a significant plus).
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in retail marketing, shopper marketing, or CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) is highly desirable.
