Job Title: Lathe Programmer Location: Bedford Park, IL Shift: Full-Time (40 hour work week with some OT as needed)

This company located in Bedford Park, IL is looking for a skilled Lathe Programmer to join their high-performing team. With multiple locations since 1968, this facility specializes in providing value to manufacturing clients.

This is a job shop environment making parts for the rubber roller industry. In this role, you could be responsible for programming, set up, and operation of CNC lathe machines with the opportunity to grow with the company as they expand programming operations and machine capabilities.

• Program, set up and operate CNC lathes and other machines as needed
• Perform 1st article inspection
• Select tooling and work holdings
• Troubleshoot problems with the machine or program
• Interpret blue prints
• Adjust speeds and feeds
• Complete daily documentation
• Maintain clean and organized work area
• Maintain close tolerances

• Strong programming skills with G-Code and MasterCAM
• 3+ years set up and operation on CNC lathe machines (plus other equipment is beneficial)
• Experience using Fanuc controls and G-code
• Knowledge of measuring tools (calipers, indicators, and the like)
• Ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints
• Experience programming at the machine preferred
• Eager to take initiative, learn, and contribute in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
