$40/hr.

RemX is seeking an Applications Engineer to support CNC machines, controllers, and related production equipment in a high-precision manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate has strong electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills, hands-on CNC calibration and diagnostics experience, and can work through machine control issues to keep equipment running safely and reliably
- $40/hr.
- $50/hr doe. plus full benefits, paid holidays, PTO, 401(k) with company match, annual bonus - 6+ years working with CNC industrial equipment is required
- Strong technical background with experience reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting CNC controls, and working with servo systems and calibration equipment
- Work with high-precision CNC machines, controllers, and supporting production equipment in a manufacturing environment

- Support high‑precision CNC machines and related production equipment through troubleshooting, diagnostics, calibration, and electrical/electronic service work
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and work instructions to determine service needs, resolve machine control issues, and support safe, reliable equipment performance
- Perform annual electrical maintenance tasks including machine axis calibrations, kinematic calibrations, geometry alignment, motor tuning, and related machine accuracy checks
- Use diagnostic and calibration equipment including ball bar test equipment, oscilloscopes, encoder testing equipment, dial indicators, and other precision measuring tools to identify faults and verify machine performance
- Inspect machine control systems for hazards, defects, or repair needs, support equipment failure issues, and make corrections before returning machinery to production
- Properly analyze CNC diagnostic data to improve equipment functionality and overall machine performance
- Perform testing on machinery prior to returning equipment back into production to verify proper function and accuracy
- Strong technical background with experience reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting CNC controls, and working with servo systems and calibration equipment
- 6+ years working with CNC industrial equipment is required
