Are you an experienced Machinist with a passion for precision and high-quality craftsmanship? O’Keefe Millwork is looking for a skilled Machinist to join our team and help produce custom architectural millwork for some of the most notable projects in the commercial construction industry.

What You’ll Do- Operate and maintain CNC machines, edge banders, moulders, beam saws, doweling machines, and other woodworking equipment.
- Act as the primary operator on one main machine—setup, troubleshoot, and maintain.
- Machine various wood species and solid surfaces per project specifications.
- Ensure quality standards through proper documentation and regular equipment upkeep.
- Scan and label parts using a barcode system for accurate job tracking.
- Use computer systems to track labor and look up material specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned and assist other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in CNC machining or cabinet making.
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience, preferably with wood.
- Ability to read tape measures and calculate project dimensions.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Able to lift 50 lbs or more regularly.
- Reliable transportation to our River Falls, WI facility.
Skills:
- Degree or certificate in Cabinet Making, Carpentry, or Wood Technology.
- 2–3 years’ experience with CNC, moulders, beam saws, planers, edge banders, and dowel insertion machines.
- Ability to perform basic machine maintenance.
- Advanced understanding of machine tooling and chip load rates.
