  • Essential Functions
  • Ability to read blueprints (weld call outs) and measuring equipment including tape measure.
  • Prepare all assigned robotic cells for daily production.
  • Work with Robot Lead to make minor adjustments and edit programs based on sound judgement.
  • Assist all welding robot departments when Robot Lead is not available.
  • Works closely with department Lead and Supervisor to resolve all safety, quality, and production issues.
  • Operate robots to meet daily production goals when needed.
  • Assist in the training of new operators.
  • Send daily KPI reports to leadership group if needed.
  • Abides OSHA and FSC rules and regulations for safety.
  • Wear typical protection gear in an environment that contains dust, odor and noise.
  • Work well under pressure.

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Work Environment

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

    Physical Demands

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

    Type / Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full‑time position, and hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, time depends on production demands.

    Pay Rate

    $17.90–$18.50 per hour.

    Freedman by Lippert determines pay based on several factors, including but not limited to the position being offered, education, skills, work experience, and other factors permitted by law. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
