Starting hourly pay rate $24.05 - $31.25 per hour
The starting hourly pay rate for this role is $24.05 and can rise to $31.25 per hour based on your qualifications and experience.
12-hour shift rotation, 7a-7p / 7p-7aWorking hours are on a 12‑hour shift rotation: 7 a.m.–7 p.m. and 7 p.m.–7 a.m.
Role & Responsibilities- Operate the boiler and work with steam.
- Operate the turbine and work with high‑voltage electricity.
- Operate the gas compressor and work with high‑pressure natural gas.
- Monitor and operate fire protection system, including fire pump.
- Monitor multiple water supplies and make adjustments as needed.
- Operate plant water‑softening systems.
- Operate plant wastewater treatment plant.
- Ability to work safely.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to perform water testing.
- Attention to detail with the ability to react quickly and safely in emergency situations.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Monitor several data systems within the area.
- Person will be required to be trained in CPR, first aid, AED, BBP.
- Will be required to make frequent rounds of the entire plant in all weather conditions.
- Will need basic mechanical abilities.
- Will be required to work in confined spaces.
- Will be required to be trained and act as a Hazwoper Level 2 responder.
