Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year

Third-generation, family-owned metal finishing and anodizing company operating for over 75 years. 65,000+ sq. ft. facility features multiple anodizing lines, bright dip tanks, polishing systems, laser marking, robotic finishing, warehousing, packing, and material handling, all under one roof serving automotive, aerospace, defense, medical, tool storage, and other precision-driven industries.

The company recently expanded its operations and is investing in new certifications to support growing demand in aerospace and medical markets.

Job Details

Responsibilities

Lead all day-to-day quality operations in a hands-on, floor-focused role.
Build or enhance quality systems, documentation, KPIs, reporting, and standard work.
Partner closely with the GM, Project Manager, and operations leadership.
Own quality metrics, trend analysis, customer complaints, and corrective actions.
Identify and resolve issues around rejects, scrap, rework, and process stability.
Prepare for and maintain certifications such as ISO 9001, ITAR, and future medical/aerospace needs.
Implement continuous improvements across quality and production processes.
Influence operators and guide quality expectations across the floor.
Work with the former Quality Manager for training and transition support (NADCAP expertise available).
Build and develop a quality team as the operation expands.

Ideal Candidate

3+ years of quality management experience
Metals, CNC machining, stamping, or related industry experience preferred.
Anodizing/metal finishing experience huge plus!
Energetic, proactive, and highly hands-on professional who thrives on the floor.
Strong communication skills; listens well and collaborates with leadership.
Degree helpful but not required.

Bonus skills: PPAP, ISO 13485, NADCAP exposure, Lean/Six Sigma, ERP systems
