Production Supervisor; Swing Shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor equipment settings and operations on an ongoing basis to ensure they function correctly and meet company standards.

• Oversee and regulate all process parameters related to mixing, fermentation, dividing, molding, proofing, baking, slicing, packaging, and coding to ensure adherence to production standards.

• Ensure the timely and sufficient supply of all materials required to meet production goals.

• Verify the completion, accuracy, and timeliness of all process control and quality assurance documentation.

• Train hourly employees on job-specific responsibilities, safety protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company policies.

• Accurately complete and submit required reports and documentation in accordance with company and departmental procedures.

• Maintain open and effective communication with the department head regarding employee concerns, equipment performance, quality control, safety, sanitation, or process issues.

• Promptly report maintenance and sanitation concerns to the appropriate departments to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

• Address and, when necessary, implement disciplinary action with employees to uphold safety, sanitation, and productivity standards.

• Assist other departments when needed, based on availability and operational priorities.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support department and company goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

  Previous experience in production or manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

  Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

  Knowledge of production equipment and processes, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.

  Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
