Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on CNC machines and automation systems on-site across the West Coast in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Install, commission, and test CNC machines and associated automation equipment at customer facilities.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance, minimize downtime, and maximize productivity.
  • Conduct machine demonstrations and provide technical expertise during customer visits.
  • Accurately document all service activities, including parts used, labor time, and any technical issues encountered.
  • Provide remote and telephone support to customers for troubleshooting and technical guidance.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC milling; familiarity with Heidenhain control systems is a plus.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and basic CNC programming/setup.
  • Professional customer interaction and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
