The salary range posted represents the low and high end of OSI’s salary range for this position. Salaries vary based on location, education, skills, experience, and performance. Base salary is one component of OSI’s overall total rewards package. Other components may include bonuses, special pay programs, comprehensive time off, 401(k) with match and a full suite of benefit offerings for you and your family.

• Supervise a team with authority to hire and manage performance.
• Lead/supervise/manage 21‑25 employees.
• Plan day‑to‑day allocation of resources (equipment, people, materials, systems) to efficiently, safely and cost‑effectively achieve production targets in partnership with Production Management.
• Document daily production activities and review results against targets, reporting variances during on‑floor and review meetings.
• Review daily maintenance effectiveness, working with Operations and Maintenance staff to identify improvement opportunities; prioritize, request and ensure equipment maintenance and repairs to maximize efficiency.
• Responsibility for supervisory activities: scheduling, performance, hiring, discipline, coaching, training, development, and termination recommendations.
• Utilize focused improvement tools for problem‑solving to address root causes of failures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate shift transitions and seamless handoffs, communicating key information to peers, team members and Production Management.
• Apply corrective action consistently when required.
• Ensure compliance with all quality and food safety programs through regular adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation audits, HACCP checks and product quality checks according to organization policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and recommending changes within own area of responsibility.
• Understand and implement safety procedures through education, training, protective equipment use and adherence to safety policies, regulations, standards and laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 3‑5 years of experience in a related field (food manufacturing preferred).
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, lean manufacturing and other food safety, quality and manufacturing principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to motivate direct reports, mentor, and provide developmental support.
• Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a changing environment.

• BA/BS or equivalent preferred.
• Background in Business Management, Production Operations Management, Agricultural Science, Food Science, or similar experience gained through work experience.

• Work within a manufacturing plant with noise, extreme temperatures, and movement of powered equipment, people, and conveyors.
• Typical office & plant conditions.
• No domestic travel required.
• Require lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, squatting, pushing, pulling and standing/walking on concrete flooring for >4 hours.
