Founded in 1963, Townley Engineering & Manufacturing is a rapidly growing, American-made solutions expert for wear and abrasion problems found in the mining, dredging, and power industries. We have an opening for a Mfg Tech for our Rubber division.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collect raw material and fittings specified in work order
  • Assemble rubberized fabric, rubber tubing, and gum rubber ply (layer) stocks to fabricate industrial hose
  • Operate and monitor machinery involved in the manufacturing process of rubber hoses
  • Conduct quality checks on produced products to ensure they meet specified standards
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintains a clean workstation and production floor.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and resolve issues.
  • Participates in ongoing on-the-job training to adhere to company policies.
Requirements:
  • Attention to detail
    - Strong focus on quality control and adherence to production specifications.
  • Safety Awareness
    - Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Team Player
    - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate well with colleagues.
  • Position works indoors and outdoors in varying climates
  • Occasionally stoop, kneel and/or crouch
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
