We are working in partnership with a leading Owner’s Representative who delivers world-class hyperscale data center projects for global technology clients.
On their behalf, we are seeking experienced Commissioning Managers to join their growing team.
This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of mission-critical infrastructure delivery, ensuring new hyperscale facilities meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and quality.
The Role
As a Commissioning Manager, you will act as the client’s advocate throughout the commissioning process, managing activities across electrical, mechanical, controls, and life safety systems. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, aligned with design intent, and fully validated for operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage commissioning activities from design through to integrated systems testing and handover.
- Develop and implement commissioning schedules, plans, and documentation.
- Oversee QA/QC processes, issue tracking, and resolution management.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and design teams to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Report progress, risks, and critical issues to the client and senior leadership.
- Ensure safe practices and adherence to environmental and quality standards throughout commissioning.
About You
- Proven experience managing commissioning for hyperscale or large-scale data centers (or mission-critical facilities).
- Strong knowledge of MEP and controls systems, with expertise in integrated systems testing (IST).
- Familiarity with industry commissioning standards (ASHRAE, NEBB, BCA, Uptime Institute).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to act as the client’s representative.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities under pressure.
