This leader will report to the VP, Client Experience, and lead a team of Barkley

OKRP team members to deliver Whole Brand ideas that drive business. This person, independently, plays a significant role in paving the conditions for brave ideas. A successful Director is a trusted advisor who understands their client’s business and shares thoughtful, strategic POVs. They are the client’s “first phone call” and proactively manage the right team to deliver the work while identifying fresh opportunities for growth across the whole brand spectrum.

They champion their direct reports to their next level and are committed to the team’s development.

OKRP offerings (B2C or B2B) to align with client needs and form the ideal path forward for the business. They communicate a clear purpose and action plan, driven by a passion for creative ideas and for inspiring the team to build whole brands.

They thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage a large volume of moving parts, and prioritize while being mindful of quick turnaround times, team limitations, and client sensitivities. Responsibilities
  • CLIENT: Independent management and foresight across client needs and business problems. Be the expert on the client’s business, consulting with clients and steering modern business and brand innovations.
  • CLIENT EXPERIENCE TEAM: Lead, empower, and inspire the team to understand and drive the client’s business; provide perspective on big-picture opportunities beyond immediate timelines.
  • Lead the overall Client Experience to deliver external strategic documents (Annual Planning, 360 Scorecard) and internal performance metrics linked to financial forecasting, Whole Brand Assessments, and Team Annual Huddles.
  • Develop and expand current Client engagements (organic growth) and anticipate issues, solving or escalating to protect the relationship.
  • CREATIVE: Anticipate and create conditions for Whole Brand thinking across the account. Promote the work, manage resourcing, and facilitate open financials for the project and team.
  • Deliver Whole Brand ideas that solve business problems and yield measurable results.
  • Set goals and vision that inform, prioritize, and inspire cross-agency Strategy, Creative, and Engagement teams to move the client’s Whole Brand forward.
  • Champion the strategy team/creative brief and the full creative process to foster brave and impactful work; bring client perspective to strengthen the work.
  • Embrace the Whole Brand approach and seek opportunities to deliver new work and growth for clients.
  • COLLABORATION: Proactive team lead and problem solver for the Whole Brand. Manage clients with a clear POV that brings focus, clarity, and growth; lead business financials, resourcing, and scoping.
  • Create an inclusive environment where everyone can contribute their best.
  • Lead scoping processes to ensure precise, forward-thinking inputs from the right departments and client direction, resulting in profitable, annual contracts.
  • Forecast, track, and report contracted revenue with recommendations to address resource management or burn issues affecting profitability. Collaborate with Growth teams to earn new Client Engagements.
