PLANTA is seeking an entrepreneurial minded General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations. - A track record of progressive sophisticated-casual restaurant experience, with at least 3 years of experience as a general manager in a comparable, fast-paced and dynamic environment
- A solution focused and hands-on leadership style
- Iron clad integrity, sound decision making ability, and analytical mindset
- Solid financial acumen with experience managing budgets and profit & loss
- An innovative mindset towards business growth
- Passion for and knowledge of plant-based ingredients preferred, but we're happy to show you the way!
- Ability to work a variable schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, per the needs of the business
- Championing hospitality for both guests and employees by creating a welcoming, positive environment
- Actively participating in service, exemplifying standards, while driving sales performance and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Engaging with guests to ensure all inquiries and feedback are handled in a timely and appropriate way
- Overseeing product preparation, presentation, and service to ensure adherence to restaurant standards
- Implementing standard operating procedures and initiatives; consistently seeking ways to improve operational efficiency
- Taking ownership of profit & loss to hit targets by maintaining protocols, overseeing inventories, scheduling and managing labor and analyzing business performance to react accordingly
- Executing sales and marketing initiatives in line with targets
- Recruiting and hiring A players who are motivated to grow with the company
- Managing all aspects of staff performance & training to meet service standards and business targets
- Empowering other managers with information, resources, and development opportunities to succeed
- Providing coaching, mentorship, and support for FOH and HOH leadership team
- Overseeing payroll processing weekly; provides final review and approval
- Fostering positive and direct lines of communication between all departments and senior leadership
- Ensuring that all team members are compliant with Company’s policies and procedures, as well as city, state, and federal laws
- Promoting a safe working and guest environment by enforcing health & safety regulations, including alcohol and security procedures
- Scheduling repairs, maintenance and preventative upkeep for the building, facility, and grounds
