Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee the full spectrum of project management activities. The ideal candidate will manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables across all phases, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and monitor architectural and engineering work plans, including staffing and hours.

+ Lead a team of architects and engineers to ensure quality assurance and quality control for all deliverables, specifically construction drawings and specifications.

+ Manage project scope changes to meet client expectations and contractual obligations.

+ Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and authorities to resolve owner concerns.

+ Serve as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and project team to ensure client relationships are maintained.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in construction administration and project management.

+ Proficiency in Revit for reviewing construction documents for accuracy.

+ Experience managing restaurant projects with ground-up expertise.

+ Proficiency in Smartsheet, Bluebeam, and drafting.

+ Ability to manage and lead projects, schedules, people, and budgets across all project phases.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ 10-15 years of experience, including over 5 years in a project management role.

+ Recent experience with custom and quick serve/brand rollout restaurant projects.

+ Ability to produce and review construction documents in Revit.

+ Experience leading construction administration, including RFIs and submittals.

+ Knowledge of architectural and engineering systems, building codes, and permitting processes.

+ Strong understanding of project accounting, including monitoring project performance, forecasts, and invoices.

+ Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to lead a team of 4-6 designers.

+ Licensed Architect (preferred).

+

Experience with Office 365 and Smart Sheet software for scheduling (preferred).

The role offers a hybrid schedule, requiring in-person presence 80% of the week with flexibility as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
