Job Description Summary

The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) for GE Health Care’s Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) segment is a senior executive leadership role responsible for overseeing and advancing the global compliance strategy across the PDx business. This includes ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, while fostering a culture of integrity, transparency, and ethical decision-making. The CCO will serve as a trusted advisor to the PDx Leadership Team, providing strategic guidance on compliance risks, leading investigations, and driving proactive compliance initiatives across all geographies and functions.

This role is critical to safeguarding the company’s reputation and enabling sustainable business growth in a highly regulated environment.

Job Description

Your Responsibilities
  • Strategic Compliance Leadership:
    Define and execute the global compliance strategy for PDx, aligned with GE Health Care’s enterprise-wide compliance framework.
  • Strategic Compliance Leadership:
    Serve as a key member of the PDx Leadership Team, contributing to business strategy with a compliance lens.
  • Strategic Compliance Leadership:
    Provide regular updates to the CEO of PDx and the GE Health Care General Counsel on compliance risks, trends, and mitigation plans.
  • Policy, Risk & Governance:
    Oversee the development, implementation, and enforcement of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Policy, Risk & Governance:
    Lead risk assessments and compliance audits across PDx operations, including manufacturing, R&D, commercial, and medical affairs.
  • Policy, Risk & Governance:
    Ensure robust governance of third-party interactions, promotional practices, and data privacy.
  • Training, Culture & Engagement:
    Champion a culture of compliance and ethical behaviour through training, awareness campaigns, and leadership engagement.
  • Training, Culture & Engagement:
    Partner with HR and Communications to embed compliance into onboarding, performance management, and recognition programmes.
  • Monitoring, Investigations & Reporting:
    Lead internal investigations into potential compliance violations, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate remediation.
  • Monitoring, Investigations & Reporting:
    Maintain oversight of reporting mechanisms (e.g., Speak Up channels) and ensure issues are escalated appropriately.
  • Regulatory & External Engagement:
    Serve as the primary compliance liaison with regulatory authorities and external auditors for PDx.

    Monitor evolving global regulations and industry standards, advising the business on implications and readiness
Your Experience
  • Proven track record (10+ years) in compliance leadership roles within the pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or healthcare sector.
  • Deep understanding of global healthcare compliance frameworks (e.g., FCPA, UK Bribery Act, GDPR, industry codes).
  • Experience managing compliance in complex, matrixed, and global organisations.
  • Strong investigative skills and sound judgement in handling sensitive matters.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and regulators.
  • Legal background preferred but not required.

Compensation & Additional Information

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $-$ Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location.

In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
