What makes this role important at Ipsos?
Our Consultants play a key role in delivering client engagements, helping perform executive interviews, conducting primary and secondary research, preparing deliverables, and crafting compelling storylines to clients such as Target, Starbucks, JP Morgan, AB InBev, Cigna and Uber. As part of our client service teams, you will work both laterally and vertically with our team of Partners, Directors, and Strategists to ensure that our ideas are flawlessly presented to both clients and the marketing community.
Critically important will be your ability to build relationships, not only internally with the Strategy3 team, but across Ipsos more broadly and with our clients. You will be a mentor to develop our talented team of Analysts.
Typical engagements include developing brand strategies, segmenting customer audiences, understanding consumer journeys, envisioning future growth pathways, and guiding innovation strategy.
You will join a unique team of creative thinkers who come from diverse backgrounds—market research, brand management, consulting, finance, trend tracking, and start-ups—all of whom come together to transform the consulting services industry.

ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of analytical and creative skills to bear on client problems. You should be comfortable building a model in Excel as well as engaging with broad business problems. Our approach to solving problems requires fluidity, comprehensiveness, confidence, and executive presence.
- Develop brand strategies and guide innovation thinking for clients
- Segment customer audiences and analyze consumer journeys
- Craft compelling stories and deliver clear client-ready insights
- Collaborate with colleagues across Ipsos to present ideas effectively
- Mentor and develop analysts within the team
- Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university
- 3+ years of professional experience in branding/marketing, management consulting, brand management, or market research (field is less important than accomplishments)
- Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects
- Demonstrated leadership skills, both vertically and horizontally
- Ease and confidence with thinking on your feet
- Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
- Openness and eagerness to mentor and coach others
- Love of brands, marketing, and innovation
- Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to influence and make an oversized personal impact
- Ability to tie together disparate information into a compelling story
In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $85,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
