One Blood is looking for a motivating leader in the Tampa area as a Donor Recruitment Supervisor role. The Donor Recruitment Supervisor supervises the recruitment of blood donors in a defined collection area, assists with all Donor Recruitment activities in a specific geographic area and is accountable for attaining pre-set production goals each month, and for efficiency of drives.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Recruits, develops, organizes and manages blood drive accounts in assigned area
- Oversees daily scheduling of blood drives to ensure an adequate supply of blood at all times
- Develops and maintains donor recruitment programs and expansions
- Ensures staff compliance with blood center’s recruitment policies, procedures and regulations
- Represents blood center and/or acts as spokesperson in community when necessary.
EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to speak, write, read, and understand standard English.
- Ability to perform tasks effectively utilizing digital technology and communication tools (smartphones, tablets, etc.)
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Hemasphere software
- Ability to commute with personal transportation.
Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort usually involving some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 20 pounds). Usually involves some climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking or standing.
Functions are regularly performed inside and/or outside with potential for exposure to adverse conditions, such as inclement weather, atmospheric elements and pathogenic substances. Performance of this job could expose the employee to blood-borne pathogens. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
