Our growing team has an open role for Associate Director to join our team.
** Responsibilities
* ** Own the project from the perspective of the client and to take responsibility to ensure that the project team both structures and correctly executes the problem-solving methodology
* Lead client problem solving and deliver valuable, sustainable solutions while also guiding and developing junior team members
* Apply cross functional knowledge of Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Operations to identify problems and develop solutions for revenue enhancement and cost reduction
* Have a vision to close the project and complete the deliverables accurately and on time
* Coordinate data gathering and analysis; formulate and test hypothesis and present recommendations to the client; validate data and analysis for accuracy and relevance
* Work collaboratively with clients, the broad Hilco Global team, and Hilco Performance Solutions colleagues
* Build trust with team members and stakeholders through open and honest conversation
* Move easily between big picture problem solving and getting in the weeds, including hands-on work
* Ensures compliance with company policies and follows ethical standards
* Manages client expectations and ensures delivery of client requests
* Develop project management tools to ensure project is on time, in budget and within scope
** Qualifications
* ** Bachelor’s or above (Supply Chain or Engineering preferred)
* 10 or more years of experience in consulting or another related operations excellence or other business process improvement role within the manufacturing industry
* Significant client interaction and experience at all levels
* Ability to interface effectively with all levels at the client (floor operators to C-suite executives)
* Advanced analytical skills
* Proficient in using the Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Ability to build solid relationships with both internal and external clients
* Proactively seek feedback in the spirit of continual improvement and development
* Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze and then solve complex problems
* Demonstration of effective written and verbal business communication skills
* Must be a self-starter
* Must be a team player
* Must excel at problem solving
* APICS CPIM, CSCP or PMP is a plus
* Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement process certification is a plus
* Ability to travel 50%-80%
