The crew lead performs site crew tasks and ensures they are fully executed at the site. The crew lead interacts with the client to provide professional and prompt customer service as needed, provides direction and task coordination for the assigned crew, ensures crew members understand their responsibilities under each policy, collaborates with crew to successfully execute daily operations and resolves deficiencies in a timely manner, assists the supervisor or zone manager with new hires and training, provides clarity and support for team members, may assist with interviews and training, and motivates the crew by leading by example.

• Perform site crew tasks and ensure they are fully executed.
• Interact with clients to provide professional and prompt customer service.
• Provide direction and task coordination to assigned crew.
• Ensure crew members understand their responsibilities under each policy.
• Collaborate with crew to coordinate and successfully execute daily operations, resolving deficiencies promptly.
• Assist supervisor or zone manager with new hires and training.
• Ensure team members have information and tools to perform their jobs effectively.
• Motivate the crew; interact regularly to provide support and clarity and lead by example.

• Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environment strongly preferred.
• 1‑3 years in a lead/supervisory role.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents.
• Ability to follow OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift instructions.
• Customer‑service oriented, friendly, and positive demeanor with the ability to motivate team members and support customer requests in an orderly and timely manner.
• Proficiency with KBS Presence mobile time‑keeping software (all non‑exempt employees required to use the app).
