Lucky Lincoln Gaming is seeking a Lead Route Collector to join our high‑performing Operations Team. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee Lucky Lincoln’s route collection activities—ensuring every collection, transfer, and record is executed with security, accuracy, integrity, and professionalism. You’ll lead by example, coach the team to excellence, and hold the department to the highest standards of accountability and follow‑through.

Lead, Manage, and Elevate the Route Collection Team- Train, direct, and support route collectors to meet performance, compliance, and accuracy standards.
- Hold team members accountable to operational procedures, safety protocols, and high‑quality service.
- Foster a culture of responsibility, communication, and continuous improvement.
- Safely collect, transport, and deliver large sums of currency from partner locations to the Lucky Lincoln vault.
- Ensure timely, accurate reconciliation and documentation through Lucky Lincoln’s proprietary systems.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality and uphold all internal and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Accurately record meter readings for Video Gaming Terminals (VGTs).
- Perform basic equipment checks, report issues, and complete minor machine maintenance when needed.
- Fill redemption terminals and ATMs as required.
- Remain highly aware of surroundings; proactively report unsafe or suspicious situations.
- Assist Management and the Vault Room to ensure discrepancies and unmatched collections are resolved within 72 hours.
A strong Lead Route Collector thrives in a fast‑paced environment, takes ownership, and inspires consistent performance across the team. You bring:
- Ability to work independently with strong follow‑through and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Mechanical/technical aptitude
- High moral character, reliability, and sound judgment
- Capability to walk, stand, sit, and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to drive or ride for extended periods
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age: 21
- Ability to pass an extensive background check through the Illinois Gaming Board
- Eligible to obtain and maintain:
- Illinois Gaming Board required Terminal Handler License
- FOID card
- PERC
- Firearm Control Card (FCC)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Firearm handling experience (preferred)
