Package: $250,000-$300,000 plus bonuses and benefits
A leading multi-site healthcare system is seeking an accomplished Regional Vice President of Communications & External Affairs to lead enterprise-wide communications, public relations, and stakeholder engagement across a complex and fast-growing healthcare network.
This is a senior executive leadership role responsible for shaping corporate and regional communications strategy, strengthening brand reputation, managing media and crisis communications, and serving as a key spokesperson and advisor to executive leadership. The role plays a critical part in advancing organizational growth, advocacy efforts, employee engagement, and external relations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead enterprise-wide communications, PR, and external affairs strategy
- Serve as regional spokesperson and manage media and crisis communications
- Drive executive, internal, and investor communications
- Oversee digital, social media, and brand positioning
- Lead communications for acquisitions and major strategic initiatives
- Build relationships with government officials, stakeholders, and community partners
- Advise senior leadership on reputation management and strategic messaging
- Mentor communications teams and oversee budgets
- 10+ years’ leadership experience in corporate healthcare communications
- Expertise in media relations, crisis management, and executive communications
- Strong understanding of healthcare policy, regulation, and stakeholder engagement
- Proven ability to advise C-suite and board-level executives
- Excellent writing, presentation, and leadership skills
- Experience in multi-site acute hospital care is preferred
- Experience with Union representatives desired
