Operations Manager
We are looking for a true difference maker to lead our Sales Department. This person should not be afraid to attack the CRM along with their teammates, understands the importance of a Manager drawing traffic to the dealership and setting up your team for success. The ideal candidate has the ability to find and make deals and not be afraid to pick up the phone and follow up with customers.

1) Leadership & Culture
- Lead, coach, and mentor Sales, and F&I teams
- Monitor the CRM work done by the team and constantly provide guidance on how to improve those around you by leading through example
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, customer service, and team development
- Establish dealership processes and hold employees accountable to them
- Recruit, hire, and retain top automotive talent
- Continual training of all staff to promote growth opportunity
- Meet and exceed dealership sales volume, gross profit and market share objectives
- Drive new and used vehicle sales growth and inventory performance
- Manage inventory acquisition, pricing strategies, merchandising, and lot performance
- Monitor F&I performance, profitability, and compliance
- 3+ years of Sales Manager or General Sales Manager (GSM) experience in a franchised automotive dealership
- Import brand experience preferred;
Volkswagen brand experience strongly valued - Proven record of driving elevated sales volume, profitability, and CSI performance
- Demonstrated success leading Sales and F&I
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills
- Experience managing digital retailing, customer experience, and modern automotive retail strategies
- Strong and growing presence in the Chicago market
- Highly reputable dealership with strong community ties
