Property Manager, Multifamily, Lease Up

Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market‑ready standard, always ensuring a high level of service. They also motivate high‑performing teams to maximize property performance.

• Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast‑paced environment. Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
• Providing superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
• Track and evaluate advertising and all client traffic.
• Developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high‑performing, cohesive team—including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel—to maximize engagement and minimize turnover.
• Driving revenues with a thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development.
• Developing creative marketing programs.
• Leading by example; instilling, maintaining, and modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company.
• Supervise day‑to‑day operations of the entire on‑site team, ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain effective on‑site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching as necessary.
• Maintain residents’ files in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow‑up.
• Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budget and finances.
• Work with leasing staff to ensure leasing/marketing goals are being met.

• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills.
• General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills with excellent oral and written communication.
• Determine leasing opportunities for staff and work on goal setting, improving performance.
• Supervise day‑to‑day operations of team, ensuring that all C&W policies and procedures are followed.
• Work with leasing staff to ensure leasing/marketing goals are met.
• Be able to manage a team.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Real Estate License preferred.

• 3+ years of Property Management experience.
• 3+ years of Management experience.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regularly required to travel.
