Job Description SummaryProperty Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market‑ready standard, always ensuring a high level of service. They also motivate high‑performing teams to maximize property performance.
Job Description- Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast‑paced environment. Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
- Providing superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
- Track and evaluate advertising and all client traffic.
- Developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high‑performing, cohesive team—including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel—to maximize engagement and minimize turnover.
- Driving revenues with a thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development.
- Developing creative marketing programs.
- Leading by example; instilling, maintaining, and modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company.
- Supervise day‑to‑day operations of the entire on‑site team, ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed.
- Maintain effective on‑site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching as necessary.
- Maintain residents’ files in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow‑up.
- Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budget and finances.
- Work with leasing staff to ensure leasing/marketing goals are being met.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills.
- General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills with excellent oral and written communication.
- Determine leasing opportunities for staff and work on goal setting, improving performance.
- Supervise day‑to‑day operations of team, ensuring that all C&W policies and procedures are followed.
- Work with leasing staff to ensure leasing/marketing goals are met.
- Be able to manage a team.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Real Estate License preferred.
- 3+ years of Property Management experience.
- 3+ years of Management experience.
