Oliver Wyman’s Private Equity team in North America is looking to hire consultants to support its rapid growth. The team works with private equity investors throughout the deal transaction lifecycle: from opportunity identification through due diligence and post‑transaction value realization.

The team is looking for experienced professionals who are already working or are interested in focusing on serving private equity clients in the Education sector, including higher education, K‑12, and EdTech.
As an Engagement Manager you will lead and execute due diligence engagements and/or post‑transaction engagements for private equity funds and portfolio companies. You will ensure findings are insightful, data‑driven, and provide strategic thought leadership.
Qualifications- Professional working experience with exposure to commercial and operational due diligence in a management consulting firm.
- Experience across or within industries in Private Equity.
- In‑depth experience with customer research techniques (interviews, surveys, focus groups, etc.).
- Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Undergraduate or advanced degree from a strong academic program.
- Initiative to learn new skills and apply them.
- Creativity to develop novel solutions.
- Aptitude for analytical work, extracting key issues from complex data.
- Willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with a talented team.

CompensationBase salary range: $225,000 - $240,000. Base pay determined by experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Eligible for performance‑based incentives and a competitive total rewards package including health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401(k) savings and other retirement programs, and employee assistance programs.
