The Utility Locate Manager provides management and oversight of internal private utility locating services in support of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) operations throughout Illinois, Michigan and Indiana. This contractor role is responsible for coordinating locating activities, ensuring accurate utility identification prior to drilling, and supporting damage prevention efforts. The contractor operates independently, managing time and methods while meeting project requirements, safety standards, and agreed-upon deliverables.
TeamStructure
Reports directly to the Operations Manager and works closely with field technicians and project managers.

- Ensure accurate and timely utility locates
- Coordinate with clients and contractors
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations
- Train and mentor team members
- Experience in utility locating
- Knowledge of underground utility regulations
- Familiarity with GIS technology

- Education:
