A Chicago-based growing $20B AUM investment manager is seeking a Head of Fund Accounting to lead all accounting and reporting across its private equity and private credit funds. This role will oversee fund operations from end to end and serve as a key partner to senior leadership as the platform continues to scale.

• Own fund accounting, NAVs, capital activity, and financial reporting for PE and private credit vehicles
• Set and execute the fund accounting strategy across private equity and private credit vehicles
• Provide senior oversight of NAVs, capital activity, valuations, and financial reporting
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of approximately 10 fund accounting professionals
• Serve as the primary executive contact for fund administrators, auditors, and external advisors
• Partner with investment, tax, treasury, and compliance teams on fund launches, restructurings, and complex transactions
• Drive process improvement, automation, and institutional best practices as the firm scales

• 15-20 years of fund accounting experience within private equity and/or private credit
• Strong understanding of partnership accounting, valuations, and complex fund structures
• Proven experience leading and scaling teams; experience managing third-party administrators
• Background at a top-tier investment manager, fund administrator, or public accounting firm preferred
